Latest Achievements 2023-2024 :- won Monthly & Annual Awards as Best Lead Actress for the women centric short Film - The Wedding Bandit, at International Film Festivals from US, Canada, Greece, Serbia, Paris, Romania, South Transylvania, Kolkata- India, Turkey, Bulgaria and London.
After I completed my education, started doing Private Jobs in HR, Admin, Operations, Sales and Marketing profiles since 2009.
I was always considered a Multi tasker during my entire professional life.
As an HR I helped many people in getting them placed in good Private companies.
As an HR I received promotions with pay hikes and also, my work was appreciated followed by monthly and annual Awards given by the organisations.
while giving the presentation to the New Joinees as an HR in a leading MNC, Gurgaon, I was spotted by a girl who was also a new joinee from theatre background. she came to me once in cafeteria during the break time and told me to try for media and entertainment industry because of my speaking skills and pleasing personality.
I listened to her, got my portfolio made, tried my luck and later was selected as a Journalist for the online channels. Initially I was appointed as an Internee within a year I was promoted as a Bureau Chief since, I was doing other office works along with onscreen presentations of the news.
During this period, I went to Dubai on Visit visa with my family.
Since Dubai is a commercial hub, I travelled across the city to explore the media sector. under the scorching heat, I walked building to building, floor to floor and offices to offices.
Then I met in an Office Mr Jimmy Alfred who was looking out for new faces, while I was talking and introducing myself to him, he immediately suggested me to work in movies.
He told me, he is actually from Hollywood who worked in the huge film projects.
Since, I was on visit visa, so it was impossible for me to work in Dubai, so I took his contact number and went back to India.
Then Covid 19 happened and lockdown, it was my destiny through LinkedIn I got in touch with a female Arab professional based in Istanbul, Turkey. Her name is Ms. Amal Abbou.
She was already having a journalism background, so we planned and I started working from home for her, virtually.
I used to send her my news videos which she posted on her online pages and channels.
We made a small studio in our house during that time, where I used to make videos along with my brother.
further improvisation was done on the quality of videos with lucrative editing work.
later, another Arab female also joined to give voiceover on my news in Arabic Language as I was delivering news in English language.
The followers of the page increased from India and Middle East regions. I was given the designation of Publication Director for virtually working from India for my boss based in Istanbul, Turkey.
I also learnt Arabic language at basic level by hiring a home tutor and did a short term course along with my professional work during lockdown and Covid19
Apart from news I did other activities onscreen that is Quran Reading (Complete), home remedies for beauty, health treatment and other entertainment work presentations in order to update my skills.
During my online channel's journey in between I did online promotional advertisements too for Turkish, Yemen and Indian organisations.
During this period in coordination with Mr Jimmy Alfred virtually I started doing and making acting videos, by picking up the scenes from the old Hollywood hit movies and I was doing acting in my own different styles, which further impressed Mr Jimmy Alfred.
After 7 Months of making my acting videos, Sir Jimmy Alfred, awarded me with Certificate of Excellence in acting followed by a video in which he praised my acting skills and learning.
My Indian friend was planning to make a film then, for the International Film Festivals, I was already selected by him in the movie, so Mr Jimmy Alfred took interest in our project and then he became its part as an Independent Script/screenwriter.
I was doing all coordination work between the Film Director based in India and Sir Jimmy Alfred who later went back to USA from Dubai.
During the pre-production phase, I was taking care of the HR, admin and operation work too, that is approaching the leading theatres, agents and acting academies in New Delhi, for the hiring of actors and actresses by telecalling, sending them the letters as proposals to conduct auditions & preparing MIS reports.
After the pre-production, production and post production work completed of our film The Wedding Bandit, the film was submitted into the International Film Festivals which received so many achievements and awards in different categories.
Since, I was taking care of the backend process of the submission of the movie at the film Festivals through Filmfreeway, I took all care of doing the follow ups of the results, achievements and maintained the MIS reports too for it which is available publicly.
As mentioned earlier I received too many awards for the film “The Wedding Bandit” in the category of Best Actress.
I was also invited by the Blue Bird Film Festivals based in Kolkata, India to be Awarded as Grand Annual Winner-2024 for The Wedding Bandit film.
So now I will be focusing only on my acting career, as everybody has been supportive and encouraged me to pursue this career.
But at the same time, I would like to convey, my past professional experiences never went waste.
I learnt, to execute any film project the Administration should be very strong which is also a backbone.
Currently Iam taking a break from professional life, as there are some unfinished work & responsibilities related to my family which needs to be completed successfully.
So, during my entire professional journey Almighty has been very gracious, merciful and helpful by sending good, encouraging and motivating people in my life to give a boost in my career.
Lots of praises to them. God willing more to come in future.
