<p>On the fourth day of the second Test, New Zealand defeated South Africa by seven wickets and won the series for the first time ever thanks to an undefeated century from Kane Williamson.</p>

<p>Despite their best efforts, South Africa was unable to disrupt the home batting order and even the series. In what was a record fourth-innings run chase in a Test, Williamson’s 133, his 32nd Test century, primarily came in a partnership of 152 with Will Young (60 not out), which brought them over the finish line.</p>
