According to media reports, PCB wants to play matches against Australia in Chennai and against Afghanistan in Bengaluru. For this, the demand to change the venue was made by the Pakistan Cricket Board. According to a sports website, ICC and BCCI have rejected this demand. Pakistan has to play a match against Australia in Bangalore and then against Afghanistan in Chennai. Pakistan had demanded to play matches against Afghanistan in Bengaluru and Australia in Chennai. Schedule may be announced by ICC next week
In the meeting of ICC and BCCI, it was said that unless there is a serious crisis regarding the pitch or security, according to the rules, the venue cannot be changed.
